Title: where to buy a mk2 golf gti accelerator cable

having trouble sourcing one rung tps, vw dealer, andrew page, bbc motorfactors. They all say it has been discontinued is there anywhere I could source an original part/non genuine part from.

first of all. remove the cable and run some 3 in 1 oil through it to try free it up. and if the plastic sleeve between outside of cable and inner part is breaking up. try and take it all out as that can cause sticking at times.

Found the culprit, I removed lower dash and looked in I could clearly see the rubber gromit had completly come out. It looks quite new tbh 5 min job to push back in and viola the ol girl is back to running normal again.
