Title: Fitting momo 280mm steering wheel.
Post by: GOLF-MK3-GTI on 17 September 2013, 17:53
I'm just about to buy a momo 280mm for my MK3.

The question is, after putting this steering on, will it bring up any airbag faults? Such as light on permanently?

Thanks

Sorted, I need airbag bypass module to eliminate the light.

Momo do sell the airbag (resistor) for silly silly money, I have read about fitting a simple resistor and it does the same job (just with a maplin label instead)

I was going to fit a resistor when i changed mine to momo but after a few weeks the light went out by itself, which i was loving, but i banged the dash the other day to get another light working and it came back on again, well chuffed
