Title: relentless manifold v3
Post by: sharki786 on 17 September 2013, 07:18
Just been looking at these and come across this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-TT-225-S3-STAINLESS-RACE-MANIFOLD-version3-as-seen-on-TTOC-1-8L-QUATTRO-/300907851322?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item460f816e3a it seems cheap.
Also what are the benefits?

Benefits are outlined in description, I thought you were looking for a manifold for a gt28? Also be prepared to be stung with import charges as well.

seem to be hit or miss with quality of welds, flow and fitment.

is a V4 in development that addresses issues of fit but don't know much other than that

The v3 is stronger than the v2 but doesn't flow as well.
There is a v4 in the final stages of development but it still needs testing to prove the flow.
V2 with extra welding has given the best results.

If you wanting a k04 your also going to want a fmic, high flow k04 tip, clutch, cupra r fuel pump and maf, injectors, full turbo back exhaust, heat shield for filter and I would also be fitting a catch can and deleting the Evap etc. and also with that extra power suspension and brake upgrades.
I would also be looking at fitting uprated rods just to be safe but that's down to wether you want to.
There's a lot more to upgrading the power then bring on a bigger turbo.
