Hi, I am interested in purchasing a Golf mk3 TDI for insurance purposes as a gti would be abit expensive for insurance  :cry: , as i am only 19, are there any experienced tdi owner who know what problems to look out for before purchasing one??  Will i be able top find a decent TDI for around £2000 - £3000??

Also what are the best mods for a TDI in terms of styling and performance??

Not a TDI owner, but I think your budget is too high! There's a nice tdi going on here for £800 I think.

Guess the easiest way is going to be a chip?
