18th May - confirmed BW39 - collection in about 4-6 weeks which suits me as working 14 hour days for the next few weeks and wouldn't get a chance to collect from England until late October anyways!

You collecting? Did you get it from a dealer across the water?

Yes - long story - family over there - got massive discount so well worth it. Drive back from Kent - Belfast via Liverpool ferry

That GTD could be mine! The dealer phoned me yesterday to say it wouldn't be long now and VW were shipping them out pretty fast! Mine was the first GTD ordered from Boucher. Although, having said that if it had the Santiago wheels, it might be the dealer's car which he told me he ordered and had a build week before mine. Who knows? lol

Is yours at the 'in transit' stage Sam? I got the call Wednesday morning from the Boucher dealer to say it was built and on its way.

I got a call on Wednesday morning, but he didn't actually say that it was in transit. He said that VW were looking to get them shipped faster than usual. It's still showing as "Build in Progress" on the tracker. I suppose I won't know until he tells me that it's on the premises. Good news about your car, hopefully you will get it soon

I would say that yours will be on the same boat as mine.

Hmmm that's interesting about the standard 18 inch wheels. The dealer's car was spec'd with Santiagos. Wonder who's it is?
