It's quite a common process. Most supermarkets use the same process to make processed meats such as mince meat look more appealing and fresh. Because it is a process and not an ingredient they do not have to disclose any chemical processes used. The fish in supermarkets such as salmon are fed dye pellets to make the meat look pink as they are farmed and fed artificial nutrients.
I always buy from my local butcher and fishmonger.
If you knew half the crap that was put in supermarket food you wouldn't buy from them.

Couple of years ago when I was fat  I used to have mega mac's all the time.

Buy two big mac's. Take the top bun off one of them. Then place the other big mac on top. This is MEGA MAC

As far as I'm aware, McDonalds don't use that process over here and europe, they source all their meat within 20miles of the 'restaurant'. Still tastes worse than a home made burger.

So true. Home made burgers are the best. Even better are home made Kofte, which are so easy:

TBH my daughter wanted the last hello kitty toy and you could only get the toy if they delivered to your door!
I'm okay with MC Donald's to a point, but the kids know the difference with fast food and home made burgers but those dam toys and ice creams get us every time!
There was a really Creep poster above our heads in one restaurant, it was a little girl with a Ronald smile brushed across her face, it looked like Ronald had kissed her and the lipstick smeared her face SCARY!!!!
