Wanting to cover my back seat panel as its got loads of holes in and looks untidy when I open the boot. I noticed that some mk2s have cloth on these panels and was just wondering if anyone knows where to buy it from. Just missed out on a panel which was covered on eBay but if you know of anyone selling one then please let me know, it's a full bench panel not the 60/40 split. Cheers

Acoustic carpet from hifi installers is pretty good stuff and easy to apply with some contact adhesive.

Cheers will have a look, although I would prefer the original material but its probably cheaper using acoustic material.
Will keep this as a option tho.

Cheers for the link, will help to take my seats apart. My interior is also edition one but I was going for black material for the rear panel so that it matches in the carpeted boot turrets, quality job tho. What type of material did you use i.e. accoustic?

Just a roll end from a carpet shop! only cost a few quid!
-
Cheers, sounds like a job for the weekend sourcing black carpet off cuts.

Job I need to do aswell. It all rattles and that crap that vw put over turrets instead of the carpet they used to use

This material looks good on eBay

but a tad expensive at £45

That's cloth. Surely you need carpet in the boot?
Here's my boot with carpeted turrets and rear panel from Newton Commercial

That looks really tidy. That panel from newton that covers the lights, is it easy to install and whats the quality like? Really finishes the boot off nicely. Never thought of putting my cd shuttle there, was just going to do the usual and put it on the back of the rear bench.
Going hunting this weekend to my local carpet shops and will also pop into halfords to check out the acoustic fabric.

The rear panel fits really well. It's held in with plastic push in trim clips into existing holes in the rear panel and velcro to the turret carpets. I've velcro'd the changer to it as I didn't want to drill any holes to fit it.
