Title: Just got a MK2 GTI..

Hi all,

as the subject says, recently got a 1991, MK2 Golf GTI as a project.

Its a bit rough around the edges, but will soon be getting stripped down and cleaned/repaired/replaced as required.

The guy i bought it from was having problems starting it, after replacing a bunch of parts, his wallet and patience gave up and he put it up for sale...

When I got it home (eventually... don't ask!), stripped out the two alarms and professionally fitted (YEAH RIGHT!!!) immobiliser and it starts first time...

List of things to do is getting longer, but its going to be fun!!  :wink:
