Title: Starter motor needed!

I bought a Mk2 GTI 16v last week from Birmingham and the starter motor is going already! (just my luck!). So im need of another one, it could be used or new but i was just wondering if the 8v and 16v use the same one or whether i have to get a 16v one?

Simplest and cheapest solution is to get yours refurbished.
