Title: g60 fuel pump relay

hi guys
fuel pump relay has been playing up and is now dead. could any of you guys please explain how to test relay for clicking.
also which wire triggers the relay and generally how it works i.e what pin does what, it has pins 87, 30, 31, 15, p, and L.
if i hold down contacts with my fingers engine fires ok if i dont then no power to pump.

you have tested relay, it's knackerd

scrap that  wrong relay

1st 4 designations will be right    will be ecu controlled tho

Tried new relay from vw and it still not working I'm getting 12v between ground and live. I get 12v between ground and keyed live. Its like its not getting the trigger voltage to close the contacts

problem solved, it has 2 fuel pump relays, no67 triggers no90, no67 relay was just rust inside, when i changed fuse board and relays i didnt think to change the relays that are not on fuse board.
it was an issue with water leaking from scuttle thru screw holes above fuseboard.

Thats unusual for a water leak to affect the fuse board lol
