as it says mate heard you live near aberdeen and are a dab hand at fixing golfs as im not having no luck who specialises in them would like to know if you could help me out as its sending me crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy

well ive had an airflow problem which im trying to sort out but theres no specialist here that i know of! so heres the story took it to sh!tfit to get a brake pipe installed ever since that day its running sh!te and doesnt idle just keeps stalling and sometimes the only way i can start it is to rock the airbox/tube to get it started :sad: isv working as i can hear buzzing.
secondly i think theres a blockage in the oil lines or summin as its getting into the airbox/tube/throttle body and the smell of petrol/oil in the cabin is really strong and finally i dont know if its because of the leak but when i accelerate hard blueish smoke is coming out the back. anybody want to start hate crimes against kwikfit as it went in perfect and left a nmightmare

If its a k-jet engine and your having to rock the airbox have you had a look to see if the air flap on the injections system is mooving freely. It the bit under the first rubber hose that sits on the airbox.

kwick fit puppets........

theyve split/cracked a pipe, or not fitted one properly, thats deffo your prob jason, its all a matter of finding the fecker!!!, sounds like it might have a blockage on a breather somewhere for the oil thing as i reckon its blowin some out into the airbox when you rev it hard, i cant see it being valve stem seals, as they smoke lightly all the time then progressively get worse, and the mileage is low on the car for its age and its been well looked after and had loads spent on it. so tis split/broken pipe/or pipe not on properly for idle prob, and a breather prob for the smoke/oil in air box prob....... like i said before jason, id have a look and give you a hand, but ive got a busted leg and your 400 miles away!!

I may be able to help, work in Aberdeen and stay near Montrose.
