Title: boot

hi i have a mk4 golf that currently has a flushed boot and the guy who had it dont didnt have any boot pop or anything put in so now to open boot i have to climb into the boot, not very good. So i was wondering if any one knows the best place to get a boot lid from would also like it in the colour of the car which is blue

In your boot, under the carpet/spare wheel area, there will be a white paper sticker, that'll have a 4 digit code, it'll read something like LV4Y, this is your colour code, type that code into Google ant it should give you the name of the colour, then go search on ebay, or try the classifieds section of this Forum

the colour has been changed the car use to be green and is now blue with a black roof and bonnet i was trying to post pictures but had not luck

i dont want the black bonnet on it the roof is nice so im going to change the bonnet and the mirrors aswell

Remove the fuel cap and take that to a paint suppliers they will have to match the paint, then you will have to get new boot lid repainted

cool will do i think that the guy said that the colour is a golf colour so might be ok just a case of finding out and also findind a boot lid also going to change the bonnet aswell so just the roof is black as not to keen on it the way it is
