Not sure what i have done but wired amp and sub etc. In and all works fine but it seems to be interfering with the lights on my clocks and resetting my mpg and stuff lol any advice will help thanks
-
Sounds like you have a weak battery.
-
The battery is brand new mate it has only started since wired the amp in, everytime my amp comes on the lights on my clocks come on aswell lol
-
How have you wired the amp? Is it earthed to a clean point? The live should be fused direct feed from the battery.
-
the live is going straight too battery and the earth is wired too the bolt that used too hold the cd changer in the boot cheers
-
Is the headunit connected correctly to the amp/sub? Has the original stereo wiring been butchered?
-
yea its all connected right as far as i can tell, and its not been butchered lol plugs all in tack it was just plug and play, doesnt seem to do it when i unplug the amp lol
-
Is the live on the headunit going to the right connection on the car harness?
-
I think so mate, it holds memory on the stereo will have to double check cheers
-
sometimes happens if the earth isnt strong enough
-
Ok cheers mate will try moving it tomrrow thanks
-
where have you taken the remote feed to turn the amp on from ?

If your lights are dimming it seems to me your amp is drawing too much power. Tried sticking a capacitor in?
Know my lights used to dim at times. Capacitor sorted it.
