Hi all - new to the scene so forgive my ignorance.
I was wondering what the difference is between these 2 types of arches and how you could go about converting the former to the latter (if possible):
Painted arches to match over all body work colour:

What seems to be 'standard' black textured arches in plastic:

Pic one is part of the shell
Pic two are plastic clip on so to speak
Small bumper is big pic one and pic two is
Classed as big bumper

As above, first pic looks like the arches have been "pulled" this is metal work to the body, and involves welding, filling and painting
The 2nd pic shows a G60 Golf, with its correct factory fit wheel arch extensions
