Title: Newly converted golf lover

Hi all - newly converted fan of the early golfs. Unfortunately my only mechanical knowledge lies with bikes so I'm gonna have to ask some daft questions!  :embarrassed:

Hoping to get an idea of what to go for on here before i go out and buy my first... :grin:

what do you like best? mk1, mk2 sb, mk2 bb? 8v, 16v? choices choices lol
