hi guys.
i recently bought a mk3 golf gti, under the assumption it was a project, fortunately it was no project at all and merely needed a good run and a polish ! so the time has come to insure andd get her on the road, ny first question does anyone know of any ways i can get reasonable insurance because being 21 no one will go near me for less than £900 ? and also im a new comer to the golf world and was wondering if theres anything to watch out for or important to know about the mk3 gti's ?
thanks :)

900 sounds reasonable for your age for a Gti? I always ring the insurance company or try specialist insurance

They rust for fun behind the plastic arches and sill trim, jacking points on most are just big holes
Mechanically solid and cheap to fix, easy to modify just find a friend with a welder

Try sticking your folks on your insurance! My dad's a fireman so his "advanced driving skills" bring it down a bit too! But its still £600 for a Mk4 TDI PD150 and I'm 22!
