Title: hi all advice needed

im currently in the middle of doin my mk4 aum gti iv currently got fitted a milltek cat back apex coilovers on the rear and bilstein fronts with apex springs forge 007 boost gauge uprated top mounts pipercross filter few hoses replaced just wondering what else would people recommend before it goes in for its remap its done 135000 just had all belts bushes lower arms track rod ends etc replaced and turbo was rebuilt last year and is running just like new im new to turbo tuning having only ever had vauxhal 16 valvers before thanks chris

First things first you want to get it plugged into a vagcom and make sure she's healthy before you map her

I'd be looking at a front mount intercooler and a decent TIP :wink:

tip bought on ebay a couple of days ago 53 quid delivered for a forge one anyone know what sorta power i should expect after remap with 007, milltek cat back,forge tip, pipercross filter,boost hoses and decat thanks chris

im in 2 minds its either more bhp as there only 15 mins from me or a roadtrip to rtech but rtech is a long way to go if they find any problems with my car and have heard good things about more bhp

take the trip to r-tech well worth it an if they find any probs they can usually sort them  :smiley:

ye good point they can do the custom code to remove the engine light after a decat aswell cant they?

sure they could and after driving a car that was mapped by more bhp that we got from a member on here then an r-tech mapped car the difference was clear  :wink:
