hi got a major problem back door will not open failed on mot,took the panel off the rod to the central locking and door pin are off,only one connected is door handle.i can see the lever in top corner pressed but nothing door jammed, is there anything else to try or is it a stihl saw job thanks for any advice :cry:

pull the rod off that goes down to the actual loch mechanisum and then pull it    should pop open

you could weld up the back doors and pretend its a 3 door. like they used to do with the mk2 escorts lol.

sorted me door took the rubber seal inside the door off and through the gap you can see the
 lock mechanism,get a long screwdriver and push a lever and door open :smiley:.the hardest part was taking the door panel off without damaging it,theres 2 screws either side off the panel luckily the 2 screws by the drivers seat were missing,which made it easier think I will leave them out just incase and do same on passenger side...
