Title: fault code running abit rough

ive done an engine change of my golf vr6 it was slightly missing before and still is keeps coming up with error code 00668 (battery power voltage supply terminal 30 ) any idear off what this could meen pleasee:(

ive just had a look and the black plug that goes to the alternator is very loose and think snapped inside could this cause that
