Title: Interior LEDs
Post by: Booth11 on 20 August 2013, 22:26
In process of switching my interior lights over to LEDs.

Map lights, front and rear - used wedge type that have 8 smd.   Vanity lights - used festoons with 3 smd - all from ebay.  Vanity ones seem a bit lacking and thinking of swapping for 6 smd festoons.  Anyone used these, do they fit - some look wider than others?  Worth switching?  What have other people used and any recommendations welcome

check the Osram interior LED kit on the Autobulbs site. It's what I have and they're suoerb.

Cheers

Osram ones do look good, but not £40 for five good.  Don't think you even get the festoon type lights for the vanity mirrors in that set!

Anyhow I've already done all map lights and vanity.   Map lights look    Think I'll just switch the latter for some with more leds to get a brighter light.

no you dont, just front and back map lights. couldn't be happier with mine, they're superb. autobulbs do a colour match service for led bulbs which I recommend.
