this is actually the sister car to mine, imported by awesomegti at the same time.. registered on the same day (registration numbers are VERY similar) .. im just lucky mine was looked after

oops havent altered pic yet been away for a while yep sold it back in January kept my Mk2 8v love it tio bits now on the lookout for a good Edition 1,Rallye or if they all end up like the one in the above pics a VR6 :smiley:

I got the close up pics from the guy selling the Rallye as he only lives a couple of miles away and it looks to me like the windscreen would have to come out to sort some of the rust and the supercharger will need over hauling as it was done in 1998. Yup it's cheap, but it needs a lot of coin spending on it to make it mint imo.  :cry:

i seen it on there last night....... not bad if youvr got a grand to throw at it straight away... that red one you missed the other week would have been a better buy though!!! :laugh:

Cheers gaz, I'm still scarred for life after missing that red one the other week especially as it was mint, low miles, stage 4 charger and all for 3.5k !  :cry: :cry: :cry:

Slick - I have'nt sold the valver yet, I am keeping it a little longer now. The misses company car goes back tomorrow so she'll need it to get about with the sprogg!

Will proberly be on ebay in 6 weeks or so!

I take the seals are fecked on the Rallye then? Not so much of a bargin then. :huh:

It had some pretty gruesome looking bits of rust around the windscreen seal and also on the inside foot of the door panel. I was tempted, but once I saw the close ups I thought best not. If you had some spare cash to throw at it then it's probably a good buy, but mint it certainly is not.
