Title: Exhaust question

Hi guys

Quick one,  I want to remove the back box on my MK5 to I can gain proper access to clean my twin pipes  :wink: just wanted to know when put it back on the car do I need to put some exhaust paste on the join, or can I put it back on "dry"

If you're running the std exhaust then its a single section all the way from the downpipe. I would just remove the rear box from its rubber mountings, that should give you enough access to clean the tail pipes.
