Hey guys, been pondering about changing my wheel bolts for ages as I still have the standard oily grubby looking bolts and they look ugly next to my wheels, I done abit of research and I have come up with finding that the Gold mk4 uses M14x1.5 at 28mm???
Had a look on ebay and found...

Im wondering if the bolts with be of decent quality I.E wont break underload and if they are infact the correct size?

hi, can't comment on quality of bolts.
but standard bolts are radius seated, and ones in link are tapered.
might be worth checking your wheels.
And yes those are the correct measurements.

thanks for the reply, Im using BBS LMR's with standard bolts and not had a problem so best I get the ones you mentioned :)

I am guessing your BBS wheels are reps if so then standard radius bolts will be wrong, 95% of aftermarket wheels use tapered fit so the ones in the link you posted will be correct.
I used these on my alloys: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20-x-M14X1-5-ALLOY-WHEEL-BOLTS-FITS-VW-T4-TRANSPORTER-60-DEGREES-TAPER-No-7-/270915941824?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item3f13d935c0#ht_1704wt_1328

yes they are rep wayne, been fitted a year now, not had any problems so far

That might be the case but standard bolts are not locating them as they should be.

Wayne is correct, almost all aftermarket wheels need tapered bolts.
