i was talking to a guy called seatman on tdi sport forum, he has a golf thats got 170odd hp with a standard turbo but with an excellent map and bosio injector nozzles. talk to him before spending loadsa dollars on a thrbo

You will need a lot of extra mods and maybe £5k... :lipsrsealed:

Really as much as that?
I have had a custom map from them on my tdi130
Thought I could get that turbo bigger injectors and a new re map guess I'm wrong haha

Don't be so naive! The turbo kit and manifold is over £2k alone! You'd need a lot of other supporting mods...

Thought the kit was 1200 to be honest
Is it worth the bhp in diesels or better off going petrol route?

They tune differently to petrols, well, they PD engines do. You will see far more torque from a diesel but not as much BHP.

Diesels I think are more expensive to tune.

Darkside to a drive in drive out budget turbo kit, £1600 for ~230 BHP.
