Maybe a silly question but if you add Silicon pipes, Sports exhaust/down pipe, de-cat, dv 007/8 etc after your remap, will you increase your Bhp or will it only produce what it reached during its original R/road run.
Obviously a stage 2 map would be on the cards but would there be any gains before you take that step?
Thanks.

It'll run like a dog.... Take that from Experiance!!!!
It will need to be mapped after those changes are made to benefit

With a decat, 007p, full exhaust and filter I got 174bhp on a standard map
-
Mine ran fine on a standard map with all the usual stage II mods, 15bhp increase I got.
Obviously a lot better once mapped
-
When mine was first mapped it only had a 007p and panel filter and made 202bhp. I've since added 3" downpipe with Milltek cat back, Venair TIP and boost hoses and S2000 air filter, after logging MAF readings it is pulling 175g/s now which is roughly 220bhp.
I need a stage 2 map now though as I've fitted a FMIC and have an S3 fuel pump waiting to go in

should run fine after adding those small extras still.
i had my AUM mapped to st1 and had the post cat lamda mapped out at the same time, and it made 196bhp on a totally stock car.
I added a 3' DP and decat, jetex filter, silicon TIP, and an N249 bypass, and it ran 224bhp on the same dyno with no map alterations.
