if you cant change a light bulb, you definitely dont want to be trying to change springs yourself

its not too bad a job, if you've got the right tools.. spring compressor, strut top key, etc..

ahahahahahaha cheaky!!  my friend managed to do it for me, he ripped the battery out and the side light was actually jammed in the hole! so with some swearing he managed to do it for me, also got my amp and sub to work off my gamma stereo..

when we reconnected the battery my stereo was asking for a radio code, which i dont have, so ithought i would have to go to Vw on monday morning to sort it out so i turned the stereo off.. later on the stereo just started working by its self.. what happened there???

Forget my earlier message about fitting the springs to my car.  As per the cars for sale section, mine is now up for sale so i will be selling my -40mm Eibach springs so if anyone wants them, make me an offer(i don't want silly money for them either )

Everyone's offering me £40 for them.  They're for a 1.8t so i don't know if they'll fit yours or not.  I've told someone else on the site £50 and they're having a think about it.  I'll let you know if you want.
