Title: 16v steering rack thoughts

Thinking about fitting new steering rack to non pas 16v and just wondered if you any one had any recommendations regarding manufacturer as I don't want to have to so the job again in 6months

why change it to something that is worse? stick with the pas

Sorry I meant it has got power steering and that's the way I'm keeping it, just thought I'd fit new rack as I'm dropping subframe anyhow and wondered what the best manufacturer of rack is OEM quality

Think you will struggle to find any OE or OEM - New Steering Rack for a 20+year old car, so stick with what you have!


The only item that fails on a MK2 is the pump and that's now obsolete from the dealers...


It was priced at over £200.00 anyway, on an exchange basis as far as I Know...
