Title: Updating SAT NAV / MFD2 DVD

Gentlemen
I have just bought a 2008 GTI with a V3 DVD for mapping. The local VW dealership says he wants £190 for a new up to date DVD, which is a bit too expensive for me.
Are there any alternatives that you guys know about?

is it an rns510 or the older mfd2?

I do not know how to tell the difference between MFD2 or RNS2/510.
Can you help there?

It is the older MFD2
