Just seen that Awesome are stocking this new product: http://www.awesomegti.com/milltek-metal-polish
£17.99 RRP
a bit pricey, so I asked what makes this any different to Autosol etc. and had this response...
"With Autosol you have to really work the product into the grime.
Autosol is litterally just a polish. A basic abrasive with no additional chemicals to loosen the burnt on bits of carbon etc.
The Milltek polish has an exclusive composition which allows it to chemically loosen the burnt on stuff, whilst it's mild abrasives allow the metal underneath to be polished. As well as this the milltek polish contains a sealant to help to reduce and slow down the amount of unwanted carbon build up."
...as it happens, I'm at Awesome tomorrow for a service and have asked for a demonstration of the product on my Milltek exhaust. I'll grab some pics and report back.

Britemax metal twins are chemical and mechanical based metal polishes with sealant and work very efficiently, autosol is hard graft compared to these.
-
How did the demo go? Do you think its worth the money?
-
no demo I'm afraid, the sample pots hadn't arrived by the time I was leaving. although I was told this product will only be stocked by official Milltek suppliers and won't be available from any detailers.
Awesome have promised me a demo once the samples arrive in.

It would be interesting to see what it is like compared to other metal polishes

Is Britemax your recommendation for OEM tail pipes then Dan?

Britemax metal twins are IMO the best metal polishes on the market currently, they are very effective, easy to work with, economical.

If you give your exhaust a quick clean every week it never gets burnt on, so for me Autosol works great
