Title: Bora sport clocks swap in 2002 tdi
Post by: daveob1g60 on 14 August 2013, 23:23
Want to replace my clocks with bora sport ones as the computer has stopped working on mine so ideal time to do it.

Found a set with this part number:

Part number(s); 1J5920925C

They were out of a 2001 130 tdi and mine is a 2002 so should be fine?

Thanks in advance!
Dave

More than likely the 51 plate cars ive done have had immo 3 so aslong as its 926 then you will be able to use them in a swap job

A little late but this may help someone in the future...

A 2001 130 will be immo3, the part number on the clocks could be wrong if someone has used the case off a Bora set of clocks to make a set of sport clocks using their own cluster, the immo2 donor cluster and a set of new foils or just replaced the front on a broken set of immo3 clocks using an immo2 cluster.

If you could see the clocks powered up you can check if they are immo3 by the position of the immobiliser symbol but to be 100% it is best to scan them to pull the PN from the eprom.
