Title: 35 edition wing badge position.
Post by: Richie.27 on 14 August 2013, 14:49
I've managed to get hold of some 35 edition wing badges as the previous owner had them removed. Can anyone help me with regards to some measurements so I can get as close to where they would've been from the factory!! Maybe just a measure from the wing crease and wing edge would be great. Thanks

Thanks. I have tried my local dealer who I bought the badges off, and he told me to guess!! May have to phone around some dealers if no joy on here. Thanks buddy all the same.

Anyone with ETKA; does it give you the specs etc on there?

Give TL Darby a ring in burton on 01283 531331 and ask them.

If you could do that wigit that would be most helpful. I did ask when I ordered the badges if they came with a template, as my type R decals did. But the dealer seems to think not. Until they arrive I won't know. I'm on holiday at the moment so will know more when I get home.

the top edge of the 35 is 8mm from the crease line

on the drivers side (assuming RHD) the bottom left corner of the 3 is 18mm from the door edge

on the passenger side the top right corner of the 5 is 27mm from the door edge

i'd use sum detailing tape to line it up which I did when i put them on the rear
