Title: Solutions payment date

Does anyone know if you can pick the date your DD comes out if you're on VW finance? For eg if I pick my car up on 9th, can I pick the 16th for the payment to come out? I know the first payment doesn't come out till the next month but its been so long since I bought a new car I can't remember if you can specify your payment date? Thanks in advance  :wink:

It will normally be 1 month from when you collect the car, the only way to change it is to bring the payment forward.

So you would need to make 2 payments in one month then change the payment date.

Yes you can. When we picked up the wife's Blue GT Polo a couple of weeks ago, the finance manager on signing the documents told us exactly that. Give VW finance a call and they will change the date of the DD to which ever day you want if the day specified on the finance docs, don't suit you.
