Hi guys Ive tried to search for this problem on the website here but couldnt find any related with my problem.
The problem is for a VW golf Mk4 1999 3Door 1.8 20v AGN, I have the airbag light on and I would like to turn it off for MOT and i cant, Ive tried to connect a £2000 Diagnostic Machine from Sealey and the car doesnt let me get in or its not lettin me reading it, After disconnecting the machine and turning the Ignition ON the passenger seat Belt deployed (shotgun sound like), I bought a used one in ebay and a new Crash sensor and replaced both...but after turning again the ignition ON the Driver Seat belt deployed (shotgun sound like) so i bought again a used driver seat belt and again a new crash sensor...replaced them and again i turn the ignition ON and the same happened, Ive aslo bought a new Airbag Unit (Ecu look-a-like) but it just doesnt work...i really need help here guys
Thank You

I suggest you take the car to a VW dealer, or a specialist to get this serious problem sorted, and not take just anybodies advice on a Forum!
In general, AB warning light faults can be linked to the plug under the front seats, that can have the connection disturbed by either different drivers adjusting the seat position, or objects being placed under the front seats to stow them out the way, and the plug gets knocked... this will only put the warning light on though, and will not deploy airbags or pre tensioners though
