Title: Mk4 for mk2

Hi peeps im thinking of swapping my mk4 1.8t gti for a mk2 1.8 8v gti which needs new tappits which come with the car along with cambelt and that and high lift came. Just wondering what peoples opions r as im really stuck deciding what to do. Which is worth more would i b being stupid or sensible etc. cheers guys&girls

why worry about what its worth? if you want a mk2 and its a good one then swap.

Very true i really really want one but something is holding me back i cant work out what it is  :undecided:

there will be plenty mk4 golfs around for a long time yet. but if you find a good mk2 these days I say grab it. you can easily buy a mk4 again.
