Title: r32 clocks is this a fake set

Hi all I been offered a set of R32 clocks they have the R32 logo and he says he got them out of a real r32 but the part no of the clocks don't seem right to me

any idea if there a real set or a set with stuck on dials before I get them

I've tried a few sites with that part number and its coming up with standard clocks there are some on eBay with that part number and it shows clocks from a 1998 1.6 golf hope that helps

this is what i thought aswell so im guessing someone has changed the faces and needles

Looks like standard. If they've got all the needles and foils and look good why not try get them cheep saying there not real r32 ones?

true if I got offered them and they worked 100% id use them actually ill but them lol  :grin:

but the r32 ones they go upto 180mph were as the gti they go upto 160 mph will this not affect what speed you think your going at???

so if they changed the foils and the gti foils are saying 60mph but with the r32 foils it says 50mph... just a thought thats all buddy
