Title: ED30 out... ED35 in... mini mods page 3 :)
Post by: Beddie on 07 August 2013, 21:35
Hi all

Been lurking for a while so thought it time i introduced myself properly..

Bought an ED35 back in May this year after nearly 5 years in an ED30 and a couple of years before that in a 'regular' mk5 gti, usually a regular over on uk-mkivs.net as they couldnt get rid of me after i sold my mk4 gti and Bora

My old ED30... a truly awesome car that i still miss tbh, lightly modded with stage 1 map, Milltek, WALK, H&R arbs, VWR springs, polybushing, S3 front brakes with HEL hoses and Mintex M1144, a fantastic road car and none too shabby on track either

And some pics of where she belonged...on track!

So after many many months wondering how to replace my ed30, we settled on the most logical car, a mk5.5 ed30 aka the ed35

5 door this time round due to a new arrival at home, and an absolute steal for the mileage and spec so couldnt pass it up...

2012 Carbon grey DSG
Front and rear park sensors
Park assist thingy

Looking good! What plans do you have for the car? You obviously like modding and welcome!

Nothing too radical for this one really, stage 1 remap is already on then its exhaust, suspension (most likely Bilstein/VWR combo), the H&R arbs and S3 brakes off the ed30 and maybe a polybush here and there

And thanks!

Yep, the timbers been ordered and the shelving starts next weekend. The end panel is gonna be a picture panel homage to all of my old veedubs.

Deliberately running down all of the dregs of products to creat some space for some new stuff!
