Title: mk4 golf 1.8 20v gear linkage help needed!!

hi all my cable linkage on the gear box has snapped, i believe the part i need is the pic below. anyone know where i can get one. i think the part number is vw 1j0 711256.  will this be a main dealer jobby??  \

Main dealer only I would think.

Or find a mk3 tower and nick it off there. That type is the same.

sorted!! got one today. £14.44. now the gears are like new!!  :grin:
