Browsing through VW's used cars and there's plenty of demo GTIs and GTDs available to walk away with today - as the question states, do you think this is acceptable if they haven't even fulfilled their first customer order?
-
Yes. I'll explain.
Not selling them won't get us our cars any faster.
They're less desirable with miles on the clock and often not treated well.
Launch spec.
The real question is should VW Wolfsburg be producing these when they have customer orders waiting? For ones already produced its just water under the bridge but they shouldn't be making any more.
-
If they are producing them then can do as they please. Question should be: should they be producing the demo cars when there is such a back log...
-
exactly right. It's a bit galling to work into my dealership and see that they have a GTD in the showroom (with a good spec as well), and yet I'm still waiting
-
Yes, I don't see a problem with it. If I wanted an ex-demo, I'd have just waited. As bear said, selling them won't get us our cars any faster, and they are not the spec that I want anyway - too many compromises!

I wonder if the mileage is correct on this one, because its possibly brand new?

Their whole group has 4 four sale, 2 GTI and 2 GTD (the red one has been pictured in other test drive threads).
