Title: Help - Fuse diagram
Post by: Pobby2005 on 15 August 2005, 16:06
Good afternoon all, I was wondering if any of you could help me out. I have a 99 MK4 2.0 GTi and the Air Con ( Non Climate ) has suddenly stopped working and the light on the push button has gone off too... I believe this is just a fuse that's gone, unfortunately both the fuse diagram and the little card that fits in the fuse flap are missing. Can anyone Email or fax me a copy of the diagram or even just tell me which fuse box and number needs to be changed?

I would appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks
Pobby

Just check all the fuses, you should be able to see if 1 has blown

Hello, again. I've checked all the fuses in side of the dash... Does anyone know where else I might find the Air Con conpresser fuse?
Cheers

Hello All, I'm still struggling with this one....

Is there another fuse box other than the one in the side of the dash for a 1999 2.0 GTi?

I managed to locate a diagram showing the Air Con fuse but it doesn't match the lay out in the dash.

Can anyone help?

Pobby

If my memory's correct the diagram for the fusebox on the plastic cover is a mirror image, ( ie  back to front ) possibly because it was printed for the lefthand drive models  :undecided:
The other fuses including thermo fuses will be found behind the relay plate which is situated up behind the driver side lower panel which holds the lighting switch .
