this is such a non story. if a company doesn't want to insure someone then they will quote crazy prices, it's not as though that was cheapest!

I got quoted £3600 for me and the wife on the 1.8t Passat (hence why I sold) and we pay under £300 on the GTI for the same cover, the company was a bit funny about the mods I had and then adding a newly qualified driver, they didn't want my business, simples.
