Title: NOOBIE Question about alloys
Post by: burns on 15 October 2003, 12:53
 ???

Hi,

I have a 1988 golf mk2 (not a gti) and i was wondering about getting some alloys?

In terms of sizes of alloys do they have to be a specific size, i.e. 15"?

cheers

Hi 15`s  with 195/50 tyres will go no probs but need to be 100 PCD (wheel stud hole pitch) and an offset of 35mm or as near as poss ,as usual all depends on how low you want to go, 16`s with 195/45 tyres are about your  limit with a mk2 sensibly lowered without any archwork  hope this helps

I might be interested in the wheels...  send pics to nelliott@f2s.com with price.

Cheers
