Title: 4motion Rear Valance Part Number (They've Changed...)
Post by: Immortal on 01 August 2013, 14:25
Afternoon

Does anyone know the new part number for the 4motion rear valance?

Been to the stealers today & the part number has been superseded, which shouldn't be an issue..... But VWs parts system throws up three possibilities! One is easily eliminated as it states "vehicles with parking sensors)". But the other two don't say what they are (ie one is with the exhaust cut out & the other is without).

I could just get it from awesome, but they seem overpriced

Thanks

Apparently you can! I seem to recall someone asking for the non cut out part number a while back

A 4mo never ever came with a non exhaust cut out valance. Then non cut out is standard one on gti's. Your vw dealers is on crack

only anni valances come with cut outs and non cut outs.

cut out was on the normal anni and non cut out on the gtitdi which i believe was the diesel anni?

Lol! I wish you were right, but I was looking at the screen too! When he put in the original number it says it's been superseded & spits out three possibilities, but two just say "valance".

You may be correct (& quite probably are ), but it doesn't help when we have two options as possible alternatives to the old part number!!!

Basically if we guess & get it wrong I'm stuck with a standard valance as body parts are none returnable. Hence my original question: does anyone know the new part number???
