Has anyone ever done this? Quite tempted to give it a go!

one of my mates entered a team a couple of years back.
From what i remember it was an epic day with everyone knackered at the end but all in all a good time.

I did the Grim Challenge in Alderhot December last year http://www.grimchallenge.co.uk/ (http://www.grimchallenge.co.uk/)
And the "Rock Solid Race" in March this year near Exeter. http://www.rocksolidrace.com/ (http://www.rocksolidrace.com/)
Grim was minus 2 when we started and the ice was an inch thick on the puddles, no real obstacles in it just Mud and puddles, but was quite challenging as it was on the M.O.D vehicle testing grounds.
Rock Solid was just that, with all the obstacles.
Do IT!!!!! You'll love every bit, but the only thing is it is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. Can't wait til the next one, only a small 10k in september before a 5k in october then the Great South Run at the end of october then Grim again!!!
And I hated cross country at school.

Considering entering next year once they actually list some UK races

Been looking at tough mudder too, i'll take as much sh1t as they want to throw at me, but i draw the line at being tazered. I've found a few local 10k off road club runs that are open to all that i'm gonna do too.

Quite tempted by the London event in November myself as it goes. I was supposed to do the Tough Mudder South event recently but due to a broken shoulder had to blow it out, my mates who did it said it was awesome so I reckon this would be up their street as well.

I took part in http://www.mhsurvival.co.uk/ last year, the London one. Ran both the day and night race and it was a wicked event, really well organised and wicked course etc
The day is a 10km and the night race a 5km.
I would be going again this year but knee surgery had other idea's
Plus...this year landrover has been replaced this year as the main sponsor...by...VW!!!
