Title: Steering Rack?

Hi all, noticed today my Nsf tie rod end is shot,none adjustable.
Looked into it,it seems theres different steering racks,and i need to get a new rod and end.
How do i find which i`ve got?, R reg 98 Tdi.Thanks

as far as I'm aware there 2 choices of track rods?

(the larger size is fitted to the plus gti chassis) if that helps?

I think 1 track is called trw forgot the other
