One of the things I really like about my Scirocco is that when ever you change one of the climate control settings, put on the rear demister or one of the seat heaters, a little graphic pops up on the RNS-510 to mimic what you have just done. Now whilst I know it serves no real purpose, I just think it looks as cool as hell.
As I understand it, in the MK7 GTI and GTD, changing settings on the climate control doesn't do anything on the main screen, however there is a function that pressing the "setup" button (the lower half of the middle climate dial), does indeed bring up a real nice graphic overview of the climate settings (in full colour) - see below.

I was just wondering if there was a setting to have this pop up every time you changed something on the climate settings, or something that VCDS could tweak ?

Good question. I dont know as still waiting on my mkvii. On this subject, does anyone show where the heated windscreen button will be? Will it be on the climate control similar to max air vent for demisting the front screen or will they move it to the top right button at the gear stick which I have never yet seen utilised as is always blank.
