Hi People.......as some of you are aware I have recently got my ass back into a Mark 3 after almost 12 months without a Golf. Was searching the internet and came across this VR6 with three owners from new - last owner for 19 years, full service history and 101k on the clock. Pretty much mint condition and running spot on. Could not resist having it and the smile is back on my face. Not sure what mods to do if any as its completely bulk standard. Any suggestions welcome ???

Good find

Needs lowering
Welcome back

I'd leave it standard, you'll have put less money in to it when it comes to breaking it for spares in a few months time...

Yeah but the VR is so smooooooooth...... and yeah good to see you back..still got those shocks in my garage...

Mine is not totally standard, has a few cheeky mods. The VR does look nice tho

Looks mint....and i bet its solid under those rear plastic arches being a 92 model. Mines solid exept for the usual front jacking points but easy to sort. I'd lower it a wee bit and leave it as it is exterior wise. Looks almost like its just rolled out the showroom.

I would take my chances against a 16v after driving both Mate.....

It is very clean and tidy with just one two inch scratch on rear bumper. Solid underneath and sills all perfect which is a change for a Mark 3. Got to be slammed first of all and go from there

Dean it would also look better if you took the rear mudflaps off
-
That looks sweet mate. Good find
-
would leave that on the outside complete stock (but i do prefer the OEM look)
just rims and lows and its Winning
nice example fella

Cheers Bud......not looking to completely mod like the Anni I had but got my eyes on a set of coilovers and some RX11's to slam it on.
