Just wondering if anyones got any tips on how to drain the puddle that has formed in one of my foglights!? Have tried quickly to take it out, but the cars too low to get a proper look underneath, had a quick flick through the haynes manual and it goes on about removing the bumper to get the foglight off!?
Anyone else had this problem/got round it another way?!

phat mk2 mate!
yes take the bumper off

The bumper comes off easy. Unless its been welded on that is.

jack it up in the middle if it's too low(not with a one sided jack)

Damn I was hoping not to have to take the bumper off! Takes ages to jack the car up, have to use the scissor jack to jack up one corner, then slide my trolley jack underneath cos it wont fit otherwise!! Got a small scuff on the bumper needs sorting so will whip it off and do both at once. Cheers for the advice guys!

No need to take the bumper off?!! Just unclip the lower part of the bumper (black plastic trim) reach under and undo the philips screw holding the foglight to the bracket, fog slides out to one side, unclip the connector and hey presto!
