Title: dbw mk2 golf
Post by: popleyruss on 25 July 2013, 20:56
Right then fitting a ahu tdi into a mk2 golf and ive fitted a corrado pedal box so i can use the hydrolic clutch
But the drive by wire throttle is like a racheted servo type not a pedal like a mk4 golf

Anyone made something up i was thinking of making something using the original throttle cable and just put it in the scuttle but not aire if this would work

Any help would be great thanks

hi is there anyway you could attach that to the throttle pedal itself? are the wires long enough?

The wires should be long enough to goto the scuttle if not ill extend them
The pedal box is just too fiddly plus ive fitted it now and made tye hydro clutch stuff all work so really dont want to remove it again :)

I still think the best way is gonna be modfy some aort of bracket in the scuttle
