Honeycomb grill, anyone got any great tips how to clean and dry the awkward grill?

You need a set of these

Small for the grill, medium and large for cleaning the alloys inc. the inner rims

Wow that looks impressive , do you use it jumble? If so what do think?

+1 for snow foam
Some people swear by it , whilst others don't rate it. I rate it and think it is an integral part of a good washing regime. To get the max benefit, you do need a proper snow foam lance and pressure washer, plus decent snow foam shampoo. There's a few threads about this in the detailing section.

I don't mate, i've considered it but i find a quick blast with the jetwash is sufficient, i might consider it again in the future although i have spent small fortune on cleaning and polishing stuff over the last year or so! It's a slippery slope this detailing lark!

Your right I have a massive container full of wheel cleaners, glass cleaners, tyre cleaners etc etc....... I'm sure I've also got about twenty micro fibres cloths on the go should bin some soon as I'm not sure what they've all been used for

I'm with you mate. Stuff this snow foaming lark. I think its a bit gimmicky.
My car is so well protected sealed and with cquartz and reload (courtesy of Dan J) that dirt hardly sticks to the car and any that does virtually hoses off. I just 2 bucket wash mine once every 1 or 2 weeks and top up with Reload every 3-4 months. Its amazing stuff and I would highly recommend it, especially as a new car treatment for you mk7ers.
