Post by: Nino on 24 July 2013, 12:52
Hey giys just wondered if anyone knew what the bolts on the rocker cover and the bolts on the inlet had to be fully torqd at and in what order they need to be tightened in and in what process e.g must i torq the bolts to a cetain spec all round then go back in a certain order to fully tighten?

This is what i used:

Inlet Manifold - bolts to block - 6Nm
Rocker cover - nuts to block - 10Nm

Regarding sequence, have a look at thoses DIY guides i sent you awhile back as i think its mentioned in there

According to my AutoData, it says the rocker and inlet are both 10Nm.

Tighten them in a sequence starting in the middle and work your way to through them from left to right and right to left

Because as i said before when i took the injector seats out they had a rubbery kind of sealant on it and in the threads.
